Just by coincidence, just after I posted that, management decided to not take up their placement and instead placed those shares with 'sophisticated investors'. Imagine my bemusement when I saw that yesterday they miraculously found a way to buy millions of shares at below market price.... you guessed it, the placement price. Now a suspicious investor would have to be asking his/her self if ASIC was following this story and composing some fascinating questions. To be sure, to be sure, I would dearly love a forensic examination of this company so I would! I have a vague feeling that it would make the most fascinating and entertaining reading around the coffee table at ASIC so it would. Just out of interest, how many retail investors have so far dropped ASIC a line on this very long string of coincidences? As a 'highly respected shareholder' I'd love to read an explanation of it all so I would. To be sure , to be sure.
