I have been trying to get some sort of grip on what the potential for the kids app could be. Now, I was born well before the digital age came about so my use of electronics is somewhat limited, as I suspect most of the people on this site are as well. Not so for my kids who are all reaching breeding age. To get some sort of handle on what these people might be prepared to put into the next generation I thought I would look at there use of the internet and the availability of stuff with a push of a couple of well selected buttons. The Pokemon game was released in 2016 had 100m downloads in a couple of months, 800m in 2018. All my kids had it. Now assuming that each download represents 1 user that's a lot of potential parents that are completely at ease with downloads and apps and are not at all scared to try new stuff. Imagine how many well healed grandparents would be willing to foot the bill for all their grandchildren's pain to be managed. These young adults would love an app that they can use of their very own super special Pokemon. My eyes are watering and it hurts my head but even at $5 per month thats a lot of zeros.

I'm going with the FDA in 2020. January's quarterly says pre-submission going well meetings etc. De Novo submission a completely different thing as first FDA need to be decide if its new and novel. They have. Still only half way through the process in my opinion. I'd be happy for it to be earlier but I can wait. Plenty of other things to ponder on.
