cant see much durable synergy between an energy consciousness measurer and a company promoting 'cool' lighting effects, even if its off lower energy use hardware. there's no mission there but being a lighting manufacturer chasing profit.

that said - the applied hypocrisy of inner city hipsters shouldnt be understimated i suppose. same people use iphones and internet 24/7 to complain about greenhouse effect. its not about doing something. its about saying your doing something - and getting a selfie.

id focus on looking for fad uplift in the lifx earnings and pencil in zero expectation for Ohm cross sell as a safer basis

looks like its intended to be a 2-3 year stocking stuffer to me. which could be fine if the fad really takes hold. but its the next lava lamp in terms of rev profile imo
