We agree that raw percentage growth of one asset class vs another and looking broadly at the All Ords vs Australia-wide-Medians is a useless exercise.
I haven't raised the "human" factors which you have mentioned as I think they will be sneered at by people who have not experienced them. I understand you, I have felt the same things, still do.
