Oh, I don't think it will be the last attempt, but I suspect that with each of these rise-drop-rise cycles the total short volume will fall by roughly 30% of the rise and fall total volume. Good LT'r trading stock at the moment. Safe if you miss the trade, because it will come back up, good if you get it because you can shift some value into cash on the drop and still own the same volume after the buy back in the dip, and easier to predict the resistance and turns because you have the previous six month fall pattern. Gets trickier the higher it goes though, because one of those turns will eventually be the stay-out turn, and you can end up catching a falling knife. ...but not for a long while yet, me thinks.
