OK, here's a list of cars with the go-ahead. I've used 900g/kWh for the batteries, help me fill in the blanks:
GM Volt, 10,000/yr @15kWh = 135tpa LiCO3
Toyota Plug in Prius, 10,000/yr @15kWh = 135tpa
Tesla Roadster, 1200/yr @ 53kWh = 57tpa
Fisker Karma,
Th!nk EV,
And for comparison:
Apple Laptops 7,000,000/yr @ 60Wh = 378tpa.
See why i think Toyota's Plug in prius is inconsequential.
