I also read an interesting article in whichMukesh Kumar, director of the Steel Research and Technology Mission of India(SRTMI) stated:
"We are also in talks with an Australiancompany to develop technology where we can recover the entire heat of slags andproduce power as well as eliminate need of precious water."
How close to ECT's technology do we thinkthis statement is? While I understand we can use waste heat from a nearbypowerstation, can it also be recovered from slags?
