A problem born from the marginal Brexit win. It’s tearing the UK apart. Just over half wanted to leave. Just under half wanted to stay. The younger demographics want to stay and older demographics want to go. Parliament is hopelessly divided between a Brexit deal, a hard no deal Brexit, no Brexit and a few other nuanced approaches. Many favour a new Bexit vote. Conservatives are divided with entrenched views. Labour are looking to opportunistically wedge the government into a fresh election. The European Union is not going to suddenly capitulate to fresh demands from a new PM. It’s an utter cluster. May tried hard for a for a soft Brexit deal. Not enough would compromise. Boris seems the likely next PM and has promised Brexit by October by any means, including no deal. Can anyone explain how Brexit just got easier and a UK future just got brighter? Cheers Dex

It seems pretty simple to me. Theresa May had three goes at sorting out the deal and failed on each occasion. Time for someone else to have a go. At some point they just have to bite the bullet and get on with it. There are always predictions of gloom and doom. After a period of adjustment things realign and sort themselves out.
