No surprise regarding the regressive EV polices of USA. It is a regressive nation in most things and most policies are driven by extreme capitalistic principles. They are currently in a Play Not to Lose strategy whilst China is Play to Win. Their energy strategy is to maintain their Petrochemical dominance, their Middle East strategy is focussed on PNTL their influence there, their environmental policies are influenced by this.
They will have to shift to PTW in about 5 years time, by that time China will have complete domination of this market. Sometimes it is better the devil you know, but the energy influence and world politics will change dramatically in the next decade.
One thing is certain, I will be Financially Independent and Retire Early in the next 10 years because those shortsighted folks will have to pay a lot more than $1.57 to get shares in my Li portfolio.
