Maybe so Whisky but by any measure the Samo duster has put a massive dent in the FAR bull bar.
I think part of the issue is the seeming over exuberance of FAR management on the prospect chances, added to that the continued seeming shifting of the what went wrong from CN herself.
Like I have said many times Samo is the main reason the SP is where it is. The duster made getting SNE to production a whole lot more difficult than it might have otherwise been.
Me personally I was hoping for the big discovery, sell some down to get SNE to production with very little dilution.
Like I said its a massive dent to FAR and IMO.
Would they be talking of selling any of SNE if they had hit 800 mmbbls at Samo, I don't think so.....so IMO its still being talked about because the Samo reverberations are still being felt.
