I too wish we were not being held to ransom via a suspension of trading. I have a parcel of funds specifically waiting to buy more ECT stock and would have been happy to support them on a falling share price while we wait for an answer from India.
However, now when India finally tables the discussion to potentially sign off the deal to JV the test facility , and then further actually proceed in signing off on the deal....I believe after all these suspension shenanigans, coupled with unexpected delays, that ECT will in fact be heavily sold out of now thus hampering the true value that could have been realized if the SP was free for the market to decide while we wait.
I believe that our inability to trade will in fact only serve to erode sentiment as there may now be a fear that your shares can and will be locked up for extended periods whenever the BOD deem it necessary to protect value. I see this a a false economy and in fact serves to depreciate pricing rather than increase its value short to medium term.
Just my thoughts and I understand that what the Indian govt do is out of ECT's control regarding timelines, however I believe locking us out of our ability to buy or sell has and is damaging the brand.
