RIO got special treatment last time as Bowler was spending time at the big RIO guys London house for a Christmas dinner. Then Bowler threw it to Carpentar to announce as he knew they were making dirty decisions that went above the law.
FMG is not a minnow...you are right...and I bet they would throw everything at this situation to see RIO get a beating.
Its like watching the viertnam war..the yanks backing democratic south vietnam and all trhe communists behind the north vietnamese.
Really the vietnam war could have been seen as a battle between 2 super powers.
I see this as the same and FMG will make sure they win against RIO imo. And also...if the WA politicians try and rig something sneaky again...you can be sure Fortescue will be ready with a counter plan.
Fortescue is massive now. BHP / RIO said "nah..you cant use our railway"....so he said "stuff...I'll build my own".
I have a good feeling on this one....I am holding and buying on weakness. If the mining warden says there is a case....then seriously...we are going to see a nice western style of showdown between heavy weights.
Great to see CAZ going for it.
