I'm deep in the stuff, with LNG, waiting on the China/US outcome. So I often think of the seemingly good relations that Oz LNG exporters have with China. Then the lack of full volumes of gas available to Gladstone. Plus the overall gas shortage looming for Oz east coast domestic future. GLL has top experience & management history. But, I'm no Geo! I'd love to know what the area of useable coal is down there - how wide & long is the GLL R3 seam. I guess these are all primordial lakes & swamps made of tadpoles & dinosaurs. Anyway, GLL have been putting down test holes for years, so they must have a good guess of size. The gamble has been on best method to turn it all into profitable gas coming out of a pipe to customers a long way away. So far - so good. I hope they have some inside/deep down info on the Surat.
