NPC (Neural Processing Core) IP block includes the patents etc for the Akida design: They are offering licences to use the AKIDA design to third party manufacturers (phone makers/car makers/etc ...). This is another string to our bow, and could be the most lucratve once the 3rd party manufacturers wake up to Alkida's capabilities.
As PvdM mentioned in his emails, the design has been proven to work:
"Validation of the AKIDA NPC is available with the AKIDA Development Environment (ADE) which fully simulates the Akida NPC size, performance and power and can be verified in a FPGA."
