Hi ljcamp, we are on the same side and I am sorry to have been annoying you recently with some of my negativity. The reality is that nothing in this AFR article really surprises me, it is just that it comes from the AFR and not from the company itself. For instance, yes the company did tell us they want to go down stream, but the AFR article is the first time we are being told the company wants to do it via a processing plant investment in China (which doesn't really surprise me at all given the costs of building one in Australia). And yes, we have been told for a long time there are multiple parties in talks re SdV, but the AFR article is the first time I have heard that it now down to three about a minority stake and that one of the interested parties is visiting SdV next week. And yes, the stake in A40 does seem obvious now that the AFR has told us more about the rationale, but why didn't the company itself tell us more - they didn't even make an announcement because according to Nick Rowley's comments to a HC poster who actually took the trouble to follow up, it was not considered to be a strategic investment that warranted an announcement. What gets me is that all this information apparently did not get mentioned even at the AGM meeting yesterday, but appears in the AFR the very next day.

Anyway, if all this is true I'm going to be a lot happier and will try to be more positive in my future posts.
