Kamy dear lol, your distorting things here, not to mention, we are talking of two different context's here.

So you think the pillar of cloud in Exodus was "actually" God became a bit of physical cloud that everyone could sing lullabies to and blow dandelions into?

I'm smelling the flavors of Mocking God here Kam.
Not to mention, the likes of Jesus's words, what you do to my people, you do to me also.

The Bible is very clear, Jesus went out of sight into the clouds, clouds hid him and in this SAME passage, it says he will come in LIKE MANOR and naturally, when we read Rev 1:7, we HAVE to view it in the context of these Acts references.
To suggest otherwise, is to be creative for ones own wants and not of God.

Ex 40:34 - Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
Num 7:89 & 8:1 - And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.
And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

John 4:24 - Spirit the God is.....................
Did or did not Jesus pretty much give an example that the Spirit as to where it is or could be, is like the wind?
You also have OT passages, the Word of the LORD said unto me and the Spirit of the LORD said unto me.
This confirms, Spirit and Word are deemed as one in the same, from the one and only Almighty God and Father.
Jesus also tells us, God's words are also Spirit.

In these passages, the word, message is coming through and from none other than the Almighty God and Father and not through some other messenger, angel etc.

So Kam mate, why did they go to the Tents etc = to receive the word of God.
So yes mate, God came to the tent and I would suggest you do some checking as GLORY also refers to, means The Word of God.
    Glory filled the Tent.

Where else do we see that mate = John 1:14, The Word which is God did not become flesh, the Word, Glory came in the Tent, Temple = Jesus, hence they beheld the Glory, of the Word and Jesus = Immanuel, God with is IN Jesus.
John 14:10 - Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me,hedoeth the works.

But as I said, you are confusing two entirely different context's with the clouds here.
Be honest mate, it is clear and obvious, your faith has come up with this creation, otherwise there are serious issues for your faith with the likes of Rev 1:7.
It's not rocket science to see the clear manipulation here, so that should send alarm bells, where else have they done it?
And we know full well, they do this a lot.
