Allens, you actually surprise me, I thought I was reading Kiwi’s post but there was no abusiveness! God knows what he is like to his friends and those he loves, mind you, he cannot communicate with them from behind an anonymous keyboard. Sorry Kiwi but that is how you come across to me. If I was allowed to mention the Subi Party I would hope that I meet you there to speak face to face. You might end up being a big, cuddly teddy bear!
Everyone needs to remember that Inca Minerals is a small, junior explorer that is strapped for funds. We have been fortunate enough, through Ross’s hard work to attract a major mining house as a joint venture partner. Though the project is Inca’s we cannot allow ourselves to be seen as putting out fluffy announcements for the sake of putting out announcements. S32 being the funding partner also get to see the announcements beforehand. Inca is playing in the big boys sandpit at the moment! Everything Inca and S32 will happen when it happens. I am in no doubt after today’s meeting that things will happen. It is what it is and our collective lot cannot change that - unless it is a hostile takeover!!!
So Ross arrived back in Perth yesterday afternoon, he has had two trips to Peru, back to back in the last month. S32 geos and experts were there as well, not sure if all at the same time. Maybe that was why there were two trips, he was at the meeting with his eyes hanging out on match sticks. There will be an announcement next week PURELY as an update on the company, S32 and what has been happening on site. Nothing more, nothing less. That is as I understood it. All of the resolutions were passed complete with a bit of humour. The meeting closed and that was that.
The share holders were then given the opportunity to ask questions which Ross and Jonathon answered to the best of their ability as they are constrained with what they can put out for public/shareholder consumption. Riqueza was dealt with fairly comprehensively, nothing to report back the questions were what most of us know already. Not much has happened with Timor Leste as the funds are not there. I asked Ross if there is a chance once the government complete the geophysics of Inca picking up more concessions. We possibly may if there is anything suitable and we do not want to be seen as grabbing too much land as the government do not like that. I was happy with that. I asked about Cerro, Ross has been in minor discussions but does not wish to put a distraction in front of S32. That is, a poor hole at Cerros could possibly change S32s thinking on Riqueza. Nothing was asked or mentioned about the Qld or WA land holdings.
I think I have mentioned everything. I know Jonathon sometimes reads HC so if I have forgotten anything he may or may not put it in an email.
My thoughts.
I feel that something major (and those are my words ONLY) is happening that we cannot be privy to at this stage. Ross, Jonathon or anyone else did not say this to me, it is just a feeling I have after attending. Body language, language chosen and the way that sentences were worded - this was nothing deliberate on either Ross or Jonathon’s part, it is just what I look for when I deal with people. You all know how straight up and ethical Ross, Jonathon and the company are with all things Inca and otherwise. I do not have access to any more funds otherwise I would buy some more. I currently have 11.5 million plus a couple of million options which is going to be more than enough to change my life when ICG moves. I am NOT saying that it will move, these are just my thoughts and impressions. I will be getting my daughter to buy some on a 2 - 3 month hold, if nothing happens then they can be sold and the oppie’s will still be there. If my daughter agrees then THESE SHARES WILL BE BOUGHT THROUGH THE COMPANY @ .05 each WITH AN OPPIE. Please remember when buying, to support the company with funding, not the brokers!
When the meeting closed and we were huddled around Ross’s maps I asked about the 50 million traded last week and Jonathon said it was one person and that night he decided he had too many and traded 30 million the next day! Jonathon knows the guy quite well.
Today there were six trades of 9.4 million all at the same time!
If I was in a position to buy I would change my sentiment to BUY, not hold as it is now.
One last thing, it was mentioned to those that attended (7) to look at information regarding Pampa Corral, 1/4ly reports re Pampa, google key words - discovery, intrusive etc This was not advice given by anyone, just a research query.
Can anyone please answer this question for me? Is there a way to contact other posters, like private messaging etc that can be used on HC?
I did have something in my notes about new licences however I cannot remember what it was.
One thing I have learnt in my short and unsuccessful time in the market is I have always needed to be able to read between the lines with stock market company announcements etc, perhaps that is why I say unsuccessful time in the market.
