The rejuvenation and strengthening of the top team was listed in the recent presentation as one of the things to do but that is scheduled to happen only once the company gets itself sorted out (increased life of mine, stepped up exploration program, pay down of trade creditors, development of Ohio Creek).

Ken Nilsson is not getting any younger and I suppose at some point he will want to step away. But it seems to me that the bloke has made it his mission to get Troy back to being a respected mid-range gold miner: remember Troy had an enviable reputation as a company that delivered in its operations and to its shareholders by way of regularly paying dividends.

Most of the problems with Troy developed under a different team of managers. I'm reasonably confident that Peter Stern, John Jones, Ken Nilsson and Peter Beazley (along with Gerry Kaczmareck and Gary Olson) are the good guys in this drama.
