I'm not criticising the correction. I'm even indicating it might be a very smart tactic on Trump's part. Let the economy cool for a bit while he tackles all these trade issues in 2019, then ease off the tariff rhetoric and have the economy roar back in an election year.
The point I'm making, nicky, is that it might not work out that way because of the way supply chains and the North American economies work.
