I have used roundup since in first came available around 40 years ago and have never known it to have any odour sprayed on its own and have always considered it a safe chemical. There was another one we used to use before roundup called sprayseed for a complete knockdown as roundup is used. It had the ingredient Paraquat. It did smell really strong. It is also still used today. My father used to be a little careless with it and would occasionally get a blood nose and develop spots in his fingernails. He died of pancreatic cancer at 85.
