Of course there is a cost to be displayed in a best buy store. This is business not charity. There are so many products out there do you think Best buy will provide a display for 1000 stores at no cost? It costs some resource for Best buy to have this display set up in place of any other type of product they could choose.

The announcement makes no mention of costs on this. This is expected because BUD would never provide this sort detail given how they like to report of things like distribution in stores. Read all the detail in the previous BUD announcements and you will not find barely any details on costings. If this was FREE, then I guarantee you BUD would be milking this announcement dry, which is what they did when they announced the Global BUD distribution agreement with Ingram Micro.

It is completely naive to assume this is a no charge provision. Do you think businesses that are as competitive and large as best buy, grow to such a size by offering free space for suppliers? Highly unlikely as the big stores are the ones where suppliers compete amongst themselves for shelf space.
