Well I don't think he professes to be a master of mergers and acquisitions, but his point has always been that majors tend to be invested in both hard rock and brine.
Though Livent is a company that's worthwhile considering what it's future might be with it having some pretty good assets and is now sitting at ~$900 million US.
If they get much lower they will become incredibly enticing for any company looking to add lithium to the fold.
Also, Kidman's project won't be coming online for quite sometime. Does anyone have a timeframe for that one?
A take over of Livent would be hitting the ground running and their recent presentation indicates expanding by a further 9,000 tonnes per annum.
If it's ok, I'd rather discuss lithium and potential than personal issues with individuals.
