Don't worry, I already got a visa to the US. They don't have an issue if you disagree with them.
I think you misunderstand my position.
My beef is with Donald Trump's protectionist policies. He is NOT a Free Trader or a Fair Trader. And he is Not about Multi-lateral agreements.
He and his administration have said many times, he is a "Reciprocal" Trader. That means if US buys $500B of goods and services from China; China must buy $500B of goods and services from the US.
Now, the only way that is going to happen under the status quo, is if other countries will export less to China: countries like ours (Australia) and others like Russia, Japan, Korea, SE Asia, Africa, Sth America and EU countries.
Trump is Not interested in making the cake bigger - he just want a bigger slice Now.
That means we (the rest of the world) suffers if China is forced to buy another $350B of US products, such as agricultural goods. That was why they (the US) renegotiated the NAFTA deal..
That is my concern.
In that event, for my business and other Australian export businesses to survive, we would need to incorporate in the US, thereby depriving Australia of jobs and taxes.
