Firrst thanks for your great posts re CVN, i find along with YA, towie, Dianna to name a few yours are must read

I do however diagree with you on this, China have long pursued a mercantilist approach to trade stealing IP, forcing foreign companies into partnerships with Chinese firms etc. They insist on being able to invest in other countries such as Australia with out restriction but have not opened there own economy up.

Unfortunately Australia has gone to far with free trade as it is not fair, we allow far greater access to our economy than what other countries extend to us, we have decent wages, OHS
for example, our manufacturing base has being severily damaged the high Australian dollar in recent years has not helped nor has China artificially keeping there currency down. We are basically a quarry for China, and a tourist/ education location for foreigners who most likey are after permanent residency.
