Thanks analyst99 for your 2 cents worth on this thread. A lot of things could happen in three to five years time or 10 years time or 100 years time. That is the nature of life.
Who five years ago would have been willing to say that oil would be over US130 a barrel in 2008. Not many.
Now if we are going to think that there is a lot of iron ore around and there are some big producers around who are going to be able to suplly everyone's needs so there is no room for anyone else then we might as well shut up shop and do diddly squat.
However the nature of the world dictates that to do diddly squat you end up getting caught out or not being in a position to take an opportunity.
So MXR quite rightly ought to investigate its Canegrass area to find out just what is there. Remember it is not just magnetite that they have got , there are other quantities of useful things like vanadium. Ah VANADIUM !
So let things just take their course and we will see (a) what is there, (b) how much is there, (c) what percentage of various minerals are there, and (d) is it commercially mineable.
Which reminds me to say that several posters in the past have made a big thing about the fact that the MND1 hole showed the best intersections to be about 300 metres down. A big thing was made about that by those posters claiming that therefore that was too deep and not commercial at that depth. They carefully ignored the fact that the interpretation is that those layers actually come to the surface several hundred metres to the south of MND1 and MND3 will test that supposition in due time
