I am not sure there are other alternatives given that interest rates are so low and we are very close to the end of the cycle. If there is a global recession which I expect there to be in the next 1-3 years they will have to do MMT to kick start things. I am thinking that we will move out of a dis-inflationary/deflationary period to a period of inflation due to policies such as MMT with interest rates rising slowly at first and then gathering pace later next decade as inflation starts to gather pace. Best example I can give to how we will end up is the 70's I was very young then but that is how I see it. Gold and silver will come into play but it will probably be a slow process. I think where we are in terms of Gold and silver increasing is like where we were in 1999-2002. It wasn't until later in the decade 2004 on-wards that Gold and Silver starting gathering steam with the blow off in 2010-2011. I made a fortune selling right at the top and bought back in believing the hyperinflation/silver manipulation garbage. Lost a fortune in IVR and other stocks. Still got my health and probably more content and happier as well. Hopefully wiser.
