Funny, I own De Grey, KAI, and Novo and my first thought on reading today's Novo Ann was there's a JV deal in the works for De Grey. IMO De Grey management wouldn't have waited this long to announce a CR if it didn't have other types of better offers. If the Chinese were amenable to an extension, it would have been negotiated and announced by now - mgmt wouldn't take the chance of the negotiations falling apart this close to the deadline. Could be JV with Novo or Kirkland Lake or Newmont or Sumitiomo. Who knows but something big is coming. Could be some kind of bidding was to gain a JV with De Grey - hope so. Novo now has the equivalent of $97 million Australian to develop Egina and explore its vast tenements. Sumitomo coming in lends support to Quinten Hennigh's theory that the Pilbara gold can be economically mined. All boats are lifted by a rising tide and the tide is just starting to come in.
