Yes, the human factor is a key ingredient in how we perceive the state of play and can cloud one’s judgement. Better to remain focussed on the facts and the facts alone when making investment decisions. As far as the current proceedings go we have experienced a longer than expected timeframe, that’s all. Has this changed the underlying fundamentals of the project? At this stage it hasn’t.
Almost feel sorry for Scott, who we mustn’t forget has a substantial personal investment in this business. He will be wanting this to succeed more than any of us and the pressure from shareholders for positive news and the kick in the b***’s from the ATO just keep adding more and more stress into the mix.
It will take as long as it takes and the results will be what they will be but ultimately there is a process to complete and hopefully we will not experience any further delays through bad weather or equipment issues. In the interim, I expect we will continue to see investors trade on emotion and with one eye on the 30th June....
