Jas , As I said previously there is not a set time a director, board member or insider of a company can buy or sell shares of that company either side of an announcement...But none of the fore mentioned can buy or sell if they have pos. Or Neg. information that will effect the share price around Ann . Release ... Here lies the problem, how difficult is for ASIC to prove When did this information become available , taken into account The trade (s) the release of info to the market etc. Hence not to many insiders face prosecution....
