yes and when a solution was offered which would overcome the States intransigence and offered a lifeline for the Murray, what happened? was it about states rights or whiteanting for political reasons. You're right it should have been addressed many years ago.
Instead it was addressed by Turnbull and something could still have been done.
And now more than a year later the situation is worse and the leaked report says we have until THIS OCTOBER before it's too late...and what has happened?
where is the cooperation on an issue that really matters?
