so where is the exact parameters that define mortgage stress and then where are the data sets?
when they say defaults are rising? thats meaningless without data.
i am amazed at peoples ability to hyperventilate on single head lines based on a single data events.
alot more information is required.
i.e. what % of the unemployed own homes? how long has that % been on benefits etc.
what determines a reportable default on mortgage or how is mortgage stress obtained.
There are provisions now to have a mortgage break if having a new born etc...so do they fall in to mortgage stress? or are they using a.social calculation?
