This is just for a bit of fun Joe ... it could be that I way off the mark and "I'm not even wrong" which stems from a misquote of "That's not even not right, its not even wrong".

The "appeal to ignorance" (scientifically speaking ... not calling anyone ignorant) asserts
The proposition is true because it has not yet been proven false
OR
The proposition is false because it has not yet been proven true

Missing is the POSSIBILITY that insufficient investigation has been done to prove either case.

What we have here is a group who believe the proposition
"Pathfinder will earn high returns for FPL stockholders" or something to that effect is FALSE
and
another group who believe the proposition
"FPL is a stock where you can make a lot of money" or something to that effect is TRUE

The first group (I'm in that one) think we are right ... but it's not proven. FPL has no commercial drilling successes (and I don't care what is written, their wells have not even earned the capital required to D&C them so no net payback)

The second group (I'll put you in that one Joe) also will claim they are right ... but its not proven. TRADING FPL stock (or any speculative penny stock) can be enriching (sometimes) but the attachment of FPL stock to the asset as an investment has not be proven correct either.

And we sit on each side of the wall lobbing grenades ... entertainment value ... appealing to ignorance
