    Recently, UBS released a research report on four global power battery giants including Panasonic, LG Chem, Samsung SDI and Ningde Times, and predicted that LG Chem will become the world's first battery manufacturer in 2025.

    The above report shows that the sales of global new energy electric vehicles will increase from 1.8 million in 2018 to 17.5 million in 2025 in 2018; the demand for power batteries will increase from 93GWh in 2018 to 973GWh in 2025, an increase of 9.5 times; Lithium-ion battery companies' revenues will grow from $23 billion in 2018 to $84 billion in 2025.



    CATL, currently self-owned capacity is expected to be 41GWh in 2019. If German facility is expanded to 100GWh, total capacity in 3 years, would be close to 200GWh.

    Ningde era (Known as CATL)

    Ningde era has several production bases such as Fujian Ningde, Jiangsu Shuyang, Qinghai Xining, Times SAIC, and German Times.

    Fujian Ningde Factory: In 2017, the capacity of Ningde Base reached 15GWh, of which 5.5GWh is ternary and 6.5GWh is lithium iron phosphate; in 2018, the ternary capacity is 14.5GWh, lithium iron phosphate is 7GWh, totaling 21.5GWh; in 2019, it will reach 30GWh.

    Jiangsu Shuyang Plant: The total production capacity is 10GWh. It was completed and put into operation in June 2018. The production capacity is 1-2GWh. It is expected that the production capacity will reach 5GWh in 2019 and the production capacity will reach 10GWh in 2020.

    Qinghai Xining Plant: With 2GWh of lithium iron phosphate capacity in 2017, it will reach 4.5GWh in 2018 and 6GWh in 2019.

    German factory: It will be divided into two phases and is scheduled to be put into operation in 2021. After reaching production in 2022, it will have a capacity of 14Gwh.

    Times SAIC: The first phase capacity planning is 18GWh. It is expected to be put into operation at 8GWh in 2019, 18-20GWh in 2020, 18GWh in the second phase, and 36GWh in the first and second phases.

    In general, the capacity of Ningde is expected to be around 28GWh in 2018. The self-owned capacity is expected to be 41GWh in 2019, and the joint venture will reach more than 46GWh. In 2020, its own production capacity will reach 55GWh, and the joint venture will have 75GWh, 2021. The annual production capacity is expected to reach 60GWh, and the total capacity is estimated to be around 100GWh.

    BYD

    At present, BYD has three production bases in Shenzhen, Xining and Huizhou. By the end of 2017, the total production capacity of BYD's power battery is 16Gwh, of which 10Gwh is lithium iron phosphate battery and 6Gwh is ternary battery. The total production capacity in 2018 is 21GWh.

    On June 27, 2018, BYD's planned production capacity of 24GWh Qinghai Power Battery Factory was officially launched. It is expected to be put into production in 2019.

    On July 5, 2018, BYD signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Changan Automobile to establish a power battery joint venture company with a planned production capacity of 10GWh.

    On August 23, 2018, BYD and Chongqing Laoshan District Government signed an investment cooperation agreement on the 20GWh industrial project of power battery.

    On September 9, 2018, BYD's 30GWh power battery project signing ceremony was held in Xi'an High-tech Zone.

    After all the above layouts are realized, the total production capacity of BYD's power battery is up to 100GWh.

    Guoxuan Hi-Tech

    Guoxuan Hi-Tech has production bases in Hefei, Suzhou, Nanjing, Qingdao, Tangshan and Qijiang. The total production capacity is currently 16GWh, which is expected to reach 22GWh in 2019.

    Nanjing Base: The total investment amount is 2.046 billion yuan, which is implemented by Nanjing Guoxuan New Energy Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company. The construction period is 2 years, the total production capacity is 15GWh, and the first phase is 5GWh.

    Minjiang base: The total investment amount is 915 million yuan. The main body of the implementation is Sun Guoxuan New Energy Co., Ltd., with a construction period of 1 year and an annual output of 2GWh.

    Hefei base: It has a capacity of 7GWh and will reach 8GWh in 2019.

    Qingdao Base: It has a 2GWh ternary battery capacity and will reach 4GWh in 2019.

    Tangshan Base: It has a capacity of 2GWh lithium iron phosphate battery, which will reach 3GWh in 2019.

    Force

    Lishen has six production bases in Qingdao, Shiyan, Suzhou, Wuhan, Changsha and Mianyang, Sichuan, with a capacity of 15GWh of lithium batteries. It is expected to reach 17GWh in 2019, and plans to expand production to 30GWh in 2020 and 60GWh in 2025.

    Bick

    BAK Battery has production bases in Shenzhen and Zhengzhou, with a total production capacity of 8GWh, reaching 12GWh by the end of 2018, planning to reach 13.5GWh in 2019 and 20 GWh by 2020.

    Yiwei Lithium Energy

    Yiwei Lithium has production bases in Hubei Jinquan, Huizhou and Jingmen. At present, it has a total of 9GWh of power battery capacity, including 2.5 GWh of square iron lithium, 3.5 GWh of cylindrical ternary, 1.5 GWh of square ternary, and 1.5 GWh of ternary soft pack.

    On April 10 this year, Yiwei Lithium's annual output of 1.5GWh ternary soft-packed power battery was officially put into operation in Huizhou factory. On June 2nd, the 1.5GWh square ternary power battery project in Jingmen, Hubei was put into production. It is estimated that by 2019, the total production capacity will reach 11GWh.

    National energy

    Guoneng owns production bases in Beijing, Zhengzhou, Xiangyang, Chongqing, Haining, Nanchang, Xinyu and Longyan, and plans new power battery projects in Zhangzhou and Xinxiang. The total production capacity in 2018 will reach 13GWh.

    In October, Guoneng Battery signed a contract with the Xishan District Government of Wuxi City. Guoneng will invest 3.5 billion yuan in Xishan to build a new energy industrial park, which will build 3GwhPACK and 5Gwh battery core intelligent production projects.

    After the Wuxi power battery project is put into production, the total capacity of the national battery will be expanded to 16.2GWh, and will reach 20GWh by 2020.

    Fueng

    Fueng has factories in Zhangzhou and Shunyi. By the end of 2018, the total capacity of the company is 13GWh. It is expected that the production capacity will reach 23GWh in 2019 and 35GWh in 2020.

    In July, the 20GWh power battery project of the company was settled in Zhenjiang New District of Jiangsu Province. Among them, the first phase of the project plans 16GWh power battery capacity, which is expected to be completed in 2019. It is expected to reach production in 2020; the second phase will be launched in 2020 and will be launched in 2022. Years of production.

    In September, Fenergy Technology launched the European production center project, and has completed the initial site selection of the plant. At the same time, the North American power battery plant is also progressing as planned. The initial planned production capacity of the two overseas plants is 10GWh.

    In addition to the Zhangzhou and Zhenjiang plants, Fueng Technology will build two new production bases in China in the future, and strive to achieve a domestic production capacity of 50GWh.

    AVIC Lithium Battery

    China National Aviation Corporation's lithium battery mainly has two factories in Luoyang and Changzhou. In 2018, the total production capacity will reach 5GWh, including 1.3GWh for ternary batteries and 3.7GWh for lithium iron phosphate. The company's production capacity is expected to reach 10GWh in 2019. By 2020, the total production capacity will reach 15GWh.

    Gateway

    Jiewei has two production bases in Tianjin Xiqing and Jiangsu Yancheng, and its current production capacity is around 4GWh.

    On November 13th, Jiewei Power's battery production project with a total planned investment of over 10 billion yuan was settled in Jiaxing. The planned capacity of the project is 20GWh, of which the first phase capacity is planned to be 6GWh, including the R&D center and the first phase of the production base. 5 billion yuan.

    It is estimated that by 2020, the total capacity of Gateway will be increased to 18GWh, which basically meets the company's order demand, and the subsequent capacity will further expand. At present, the main customers of Jiewei Power are Changan, Chery, Dongfeng, SAIC, Geely, Great Wall, Guangzhou Automobile, Jianghuai and so on.

    Yu You Power

    Yuyou Power owns three production bases in Huzhou, Zhaoqing and Nanxun. At present, the plant equipment of Yanyou Power Production Base has reached the standard of Industry 4.0 with a total capacity of 4.5GWh. The Huzhou production base in Huzhou Yuantong Technology Industrial Park is expected to add two production lines. Add 2 to 4 production lines together with other production bases, and the total production capacity will reach 8GWh or more.

    Thornton

    In July this year, the annual production of 5GWh lithium battery project of Thornton New Energy Phase III was put into production, and the 260wh/kg ternary soft-package battery was mass-produced. The company has an annual capacity of 9GWh. In 2019, Thornton plans to introduce 300 wh/kg and 350 wh/kg products in 2020. It is expected that the production capacity will be expanded to 14 GWh by 2020.

    Kain

    At present, Carne has four production bases in Shanghai, Nanchang, Liuzhou and Nanjing (under construction) and one overseas branch in Japan. The production capacity will reach 6GWh in 2018 and is expected to reach 13GWh in 2019.

    Tianjin

    After the capacity increase and the automation of the production line, the annual production capacity of Tianjin will reach 8GWh in 2018. The annual distribution capacity of 200,000 new energy electric vehicles can be met, and the annual output value can reach 10 billion yuan.

    Foster

    In September 2017, Foster Jiangsu 12GWh lithium power project started in Yixing, Jiangsu Province. The total investment of the project is 6.68 billion yuan, of which the first phase of 4GWh lithium battery project has a total investment of 2.36 billion yuan. It will be put into operation at the end of 2018; the second phase 8GWh project is scheduled to be put into operation at the end of 2020.

    In addition, on October 26, the Far East Foster 3GWh 21700 power battery project was officially put into operation, and it is expected that the production capacity will reach 6GWh after reaching production in 2019.

    Far East Foster is the leading enterprise of domestic ternary 18650 lithium battery. The output of 18650 lithium battery is 1.2 million/day. After the 21700 project is fully produced, the total production capacity is expected to reach 10GWh/year.

    Polyfluoride

    At present, the production capacity of polyfluorinated lithium batteries is 1.5GWh, and the 4GWh production line is being expanded. The planned production capacity will reach 10GWh in the future. With the rapid growth of demand for new energy vehicles, the company's power lithium battery will also simultaneously expand production capacity and increase production.

    Ha Guangyu

    Founded in 1998, Harbin Coslight is a core subsidiary of Harbin Coslight International Group. The company has built a Guangyu Lithium Battery Industrial Park covering an area of 200,000 square meters in Harbin High-tech Development Zone. The annual production capacity of power lithium batteries is 6GWh. The main products include lithium iron battery backup power supply for communication and lithium battery system for electric vehicles, and lithium battery for electric bicycle.

    Penghui Energy

    In 2018, Penghui Energy's total production capacity reached 8Wh. On September 17, last year, Penghui Energy invested a total of 5.8 billion yuan in the Changzhou base lithium battery project, including 10GWh power battery and 5GWhPACK project. The project is expected to be put into production in 2019 to meet the order. Growing demand.

    universal

    At present, Wanxiang has a total capacity of 4GWh, mainly soft ternary and lithium iron phosphate. In November, Wanxiang Group official website disclosed that the company plans to invest 68.574 billion yuan, the annual output of 80GWh lithium battery project is being publicized.

    Star constant power supply

    In 2018, the annual production capacity of Xingheng Power can reach 5GWh, and the annual production capacity in the second quarter of 2019 can reach 11GWh.

    On March 28, 2018, the signing ceremony was held for the Xingheng Power Cangzhou Power Battery Project. The project plans to invest a total of 10 billion yuan in four phases. The first phase of the investment is 3 billion yuan, which will be completed and put into production in the second quarter of 2019, with an annual production capacity of 6GWh. The second phase is planned to be completed by the end of 2020. After completion, it will have 12 production lines with a total production capacity of 13GWh. The overall project construction will be completed in 2022. Completed, the built capacity reached 25GWh.

    Union

    On October 17, the first phase of the Menglili Tianjin Baoyu Power Battery Industrial Park project was officially put into operation. The first phase plans to produce 3GWh of power batteries per year, and the second phase has a capacity of 5GWh. According to the strategic development plan, by 2020, Mengguili will build a high-end manufacturing base for power batteries with a total production capacity of not less than 10GWh in Tianjin Baodi, with an estimated annual output value of 10 billion yuan.

    Deron

    Delang has four battery production bases in Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong and Jiangsu, with a capacity of 3GWh in 2018.

    Miao Sheng

    The total production capacity of the three industrial bases will reach 1GWh, and the planned annual production capacity of lithium batteries will reach 13GWh, and the new production line construction plan will be adjusted in time according to market demand.

    Tafel

    At present, Tafel has subsidiaries in Nanjing, Shenzhen, Dongguan, Beijing, Changde, Qihe and Taiwan. At the end of 2018, 8GWh of total capacity can be achieved. On June 13, Jiangsu Tafel's new 15GWh power battery project was settled in Changde, Hunan. The first phase of the project is planned to invest 1.5 billion yuan, and a 1.5GWh capacity production line will be built. It is planned to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2019. The total annual production capacity in 2021 can reach 20GWh.

    Xinwangda

    On August 4th, Xinwangda 2GWh power battery production line was officially put into operation. The production line is mainly based on VDA-size ternary batteries, which can produce cell core energy density of 210Wh/kg, mainly supporting new energy passenger cars and some new energy logistics vehicles.

    Ruipu Energy

    The 3GWh power battery production line of Ruipu Energy has entered the stage of small batch trial production. In January 2019, the first production line has been officially produced. After the Lunar New Year, the second and third production lines will also be officially produced. The first phase of the project will have a production capacity of 3GWh and an annual output value of 3 billion yuan.

    The existing total production capacity is 3GWh, and it plans to add 5GWh by 2020, with a total capacity of 8GWh.

    Wuhu Tianzhu

    At present, the company's production capacity has reached 4GWh. At present, there are 3 production lines of lithium iron phosphate, 2 production lines of 3 yuan, 2 automatic modules and 2 production lines of PACK. After the company's third phase of construction in 2020 is fully completed, the planned production capacity will reach 14GWh.
