40, sorry to hear you sounding low. It's no comfort, but you are not alone. Not too many people who aren't worried about the future right now. When life and the world seems to be going down the gurgler, it's not easy to look on the bright side. Funny how one small thing can change your mood for the day. On Friday I discovered I'd lost my credit card. The last place I used it was to make a deposit at the autoteller 2 nights earlier and it was a gamble whether to cancel or wait for the bank to open on Monday. What are the chances? It was a reminder to me that good things do happen. We have to notice them though.

It's not easy, but we can always find something positive to focus on when times are hard. Since my trip to Egypt (which was an eye-opener for me) I am daily grateful for fresh tapwater - would never have believed something we take for granted could make such a difference to life.
