I never actually laughed at the thoughts of Disney but I said it was extremely unlikely as they already had a platform.

I am unsure as to your age but i would have to guess at least 18+ as you need to be that age to buy shares - and most people under the age of 18 probably don't care about shares. Playing Pokemon is what you choose to do but i haven't really played it since the early versions of red/blue, i played one of the newer ones about a year ago and after 10 minutes i had enough but that is my thoughts which are different to yours - but this has nothing to do with em1 besides adults can play kids games - same as kids can play adult games (i played wolf3d when i was about 6 years old).

As for candy crush which is a really popular mobile game (not for me), do you really see this being an esports game where millions of people will watch? Further can you see compeitions based around it - i guess there is a tetris world championship but this is hardly an esport scene with 41,000 spectators (unsure if that is concurrent/unique or total viewership) with a grand prize of $1,000. Far call from the millions of concurrent/unique views with million dollars prizes and massive esport organisations trying to get in a slice of the action.

It would be like saying kids playing red rover is in comparison to the EPL - both can have people watch but there is far more skill, teamwork and money to be made at the EPL compared to starting up a kids red rover team.

I did say the announcement is okay - by far not great as it is more a future announcement and has very little detail into how much revenue they are hoping to achieve. I looked at CM8 who partnered with Viacom back in 2016 for a 2 year deal and their SP has gone from Oct 2016 15c to 2c today (low was 1c) - haven't looked into as to what happened and what happened with the Viacom deal - not exactly the same thing here as EM1 but they were developing apps for TV shows for the MTV shows etc which is a older demo than Nick but it doesn't look like it worked out too well for them - still early days on the research and early days with em1 and the announcement.
