Does anyone know how much it's going to cost Savage River to go underground? The only info I could find was that the open pit mining will cease mid 2009 and that underground mining would extend mine life to 2023.
Also
"Sales for the year 2005-06 totalled 2,192,463t of pellets, 15,551t of concentrate and 73,845 tonnes of chips.
Production of ore from the Savage River open cut in 2005-06 totalled 2,294,657t."
I'm guessing Mt Stanlay would produce something similiar, so how much money is that?
