an attack on Iran would severely destabilise the pro-US Saudis which also needs to be considered....how fragile is government there? Pretty depressing. Bush has created absolute havoc and the repercussions will be felt for decades. He's certainly strengthened Iran's hand.
How would the Russians react? they are all about grabbing energy alliances whenever and wherever they can. Seem to be playing a lot smarter than the US.
