    Ensures jack. We don't have any of those figures so you're just speculating. You build a business on growing your revenues not crossing your fingers that interest rates remain low because you're geared to the hilt.

    I think the banks tend to agree, thus the reason CNP has to sell assets.

    The Australian economy is still strong. It is going to be interesting to see how the tax cuts affect the balance. The balance is a little precarious as more spending will most likely mean higher inflation and interest rates in the short-term. The change of government has some perception effects too. The government is yet to prove that they are good economic managers and some are very wary of the 17% interest rates last time labor governed in a poor economic situation. Wage inflation is a real potential issue on the agendy as unions push their weight. So there's alot of variables that are out of Centro's hands that may have an effect.

    Simply saying interest rates are lower in the US and higher in Australia means very little in the scheme of things. This alone has no bearing on where CNP goes from here.
