Quite significant news that jbe has posted from the nhs. Nuheara has NO current contract with the nhs. So they are in the process of re-applying I guess? Will they be successful? Based on the other answers to jbe's email it seems there is very little chance they will be included as part of the big category 1 spend.
I am keen to get the views of others re this news, I recall a few very bullish holders viewed the news as positive at the time rather than negative, gerrado, kickit2me etc and a very positive spin from huggybear and laup, (both of whom have said some quite negative things about non-holders posting at times).

I think it was more than that laup. As the foi answers show, NUH does not currently have any deal with the nhs, so the announcement which was seen by many as positive, was in fact informing the market that NUH were going from a deal with the NHS to a "possible deal at some time in the future" with the NHS. Very significant I would say. It also indicates to me that management were doing their very best to polish what was a 'turd' of an announcement.
who knows, maybe a takeover will arrive at some point? For me though, I could not hold shares in a company based largely on rumours of a takeover. I am comfortable with missing out if that happens. glta.
