Alan that's true but only because of the tactics they are employing. If they occupied Iraq the way the Russians would have in their hay day Iraq would be as quiet as a mouse so to speak.
I say that mate as half my family was killed during the 1956 Hungarian uprising. But Russian's knew how to keep order i.e. keep shooting until everything is quiet. If the US wanted to they could have Iraq whisper quiet, however for the record I am very very pleased they don't.
