    The word is passionate - and as I said in an earlier post leverage is the key. Say you were in the market for a house 5 years ago and paid $200,000. Today in selected parts of Australia that house is now worth $400,000. Say you borrowed 80% and your actual committment was $60,000. On that you have trebled your money - you are now, on your investment, getting back $15,000 excluding depreciation, negative gearing etc - that equates to 25% return on your original outlay.The bank carries the bulk of the risk and cost.Majority of investors are in this place. Would I be in a hurry to sell - hell no. Leverage my son - leverage - I am passionate about that word. If I had to start the process I would be emotional as you have a lot to face and I do hope it works out for you.
