I have used different averages than those calculations since that covers the entire state land/water mass. If your relying on those calculations - then your spot on and wouldn't go near it.
Ive been using figures from the multiples of exporters/miners/explorers around the area and comparing reported inferred tonnes/grades per acre/sqm.
I came up with originally with inferred 400million tonnes but reduced it to inferred 200million tonnes since this appears to be more accurate.
Heres one example:
"The Ramandurga hills, which form the northern tip of a 13,000-acre (5,200-hectare) triangle of land in Bellary district, is estimated to contain more than 1.2 billion tonnes of iron ore"
I'll post on here the figures i've been working with shortly.
