I presume this is being discussed on HC because of the ability of something like this to send the price of oil to $200.As far as the political consequenses go,they will be minimal.Israel carried out a strategic air strike on Syrias nuclear facilities a year or two ago and the fallout was negligible.Irans ability to retaliate in any meaningful way is also negligable.
