Yeah I don't think there was any question that AGL copped a slapping from both fundies and analysts. Morningstar picked up on that this morning. Lots of mention in posts about whats under the hood of VOC and thats the very qns AGL should have thought through before lobbing its EOI: something like "is that motor compatible with my body?". To walk away after such a short examination of the data room would indicate either gross incompetence on the part of AGL in not considering how its major shareholders viewed the deal or that VOC is all but trading whilst insolvent. Or both. Take your pick but I hope its only the former.
