As one of you said its like trading shares we all have our opinions.
Id like to know what benefit lifting a light weight will do for your muscle......
As apposed to lifting the actual weight your about to use to increase muscle definition and size at slow speed which allows the muscle to get used to the weight.
Lifting a light weight has very little to do with increasing your heart rate.
You can do this by simply running on a treadmil prior to you weight training session.
Im haoppy to hear an explination as to how a 2kg dumbell will warm up and alert the muscle to what its about to cop, a 15 or 20 kg dumbell.
