The Fura fellows were joking about the same thing. Their joke was that once NXE was bled dry the ruby sale might mysteriously get approved so that some more money can get spent on Balama, hence their fund raising for end of June transaction. I took it as dry humor at the time but in light they are perhaps more potential truth than joke.
I think current holders would rightly be considering whether any funds will see their way back to them now.
