I believe it to be total folly to trust what anyone from Lumacom says to you personally. Firstly, what they say can't be 'sensitive' information or the powers-that-be will descend from a great height upon them with much rapidity. Secondly, how forthcoming have Lumacom been in the past where information is concerned? Revenue flows are what is needed, not inuendos.
