Investing in explorers is risky and their success is dependent on many factors. Below are a few that I consider when investing
1. The company needs good assets
2. The company needs good experienced geologists
3. The company needs experienced management who can best assess risk/reward scenarios
4. The company needs to understand the global demand trends and focus on exploring those metals
5. The company needs a bit of LUCK
We are IMO near the end of a long bear market in base metals exploration. The copper market is showing signs of developing a substantial base creating the platform for a long sustained upward trend.
