Imagine if those people were given a solar system... They would pay it off within 2 years with power bill credits.. Would only cost the government approx 4-5k per 6kw system on each house(cheaper if we got a mass sales deal). Or build more solar farms on cheap land that has plenty of sun and supply free power to those who need it.
Nuclear has some serious problems mate, even If it is a great power source.
Renewable energy is far safer and create far more jobs in the process. Geothermal power is also very good in specific areas. Wind Turbines are getting more efficient, should they be building them over solar farms in Australia though?? NO.
We're just getting ripped off on power here. The smart will buy a solar system and get it for free.
