Atrocities against religious minorities in China are blatant, especially against Muslims. The Chinese Communist Party, literally, is working to eliminate the religion or, at the least, profoundly mold it to the CCP's liking. This is a pogrom, which doesn't need to mean killing people, it also can be "persecution of an ethnic or religious group." In western China, Muslim kids can't be given traditional names, face restrictions on dress and attire that are part of the religion, must use CCP altered Korans, are forced into internment camps, and are seeing their mosques leveled. This pogrom against a religion is reminiscent of what the Nazi's did to Jews. Can you imagine the US becoming almost totally dependent on critical raw materials from pre-1939 and uncivilized Nazi Germany? Today's dependance on an uncivilized China for rare earths is just a foolhardy.
